About this blog

Chronic. Invisible. Debilitating. (and hard to diagnose.)

These 3 words describe Soeun’s physical discomfort when he is in Australia.

The actual blog part of this blog (Scrapbook) is partly things I wrote in June 2016 during Migraine Awareness month reflecting back on 2011-12, trying to understand things, as well as links to relevant articles I'm reading these days. And bits and pieces of other things about life with the Dizzy Monster.

sodium salt???

Salt might be a trigger. Cambodian food has heaps more salt so it didn't make sense to me, Soeun was healthier when he was in Cambodia, he only gets sick after been in Aust for a month, so it would be something he's eating here rather than there.
Fish, beef, white carrot/chinese radishes , leafy veggie, we can keep for ages at room temp cos they are preserved with salt. Here in Aust I always keeps beef in the fridge or freezer, its even in the fridge at the shop!! So different to Cambodia.
But its possible aust food is higher in sodium even tho its not as salty.
